I see your point completely and agree. We really don’t need any more media after this one, and I too am interested in doing the next hums with voices only!

hey kathy,
thanks for calling another metro hmmmn. it was good to be with the group doing that work again. i found it very challenging to have the cameras be such an imposing part of our experience. This time, much more than the last time, people saw all the media often before they even heard the hum, so the experience was not what it could be.I remember moments in the last hmm we did, when i wasn’t near the camera when i could observe changes in people as they ‘heard’ but before they were conscious of it, and that was precious.There were many moments in that winter experience that touched on the spiritual, which is, of course,what i focus on in life. Hopefully you have enough documentation now, and might be interested in doing one with no cameras or distractions other than to focus on the experience. I would LOVE to be part of that one, fully in the experience in peace and intention.

Kinda the opposite of many musicians and composers,
moving out into a public venue, less professional
more public.

Perfect combinaion of place, people and sound.

Very tight and simple presentation.

I like the aerial context showing a whole street of people,
mixing humming with hummers, hummers with people on the street, a lot.
